Radios and other technologies

Factory technology in any car is always a sticking point.  Up until recently (about 2015 and newer) the technologies in cars were not upgradable, and if you wanted new features, usually that meant add on modules that were either not well designed or just didn't fit the fit and finish of the factory options of the car. Example is dash cams.  They can be added to the car, but are generally a larger device that suctions to the windshield, and sticks out like a sore thumb.  Also, I'm a technology guy, and usually like to have something that is the center of my technology.
